Product details

  • As part of the WA Government's Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS), GSWA has purchased from TerraSearch Pty Ltd surface and downhole geochemical data for WA. This USB contains these data, reports explaining the datasets, a version of Terra Search's Explorer 3 software (which can be used to interrogate and download the data in a variety of formats), and ESRI and MapInfo GIS files which can be used for spatial analysis of the data.

The exploration geochemistry data were captured in a standard format by Terra Search Pty Ltd from open-file mineral exploration reports, and validated for sample location and data quality according to strict procedures. The dataset consists of more than 1.1 million data points relevant to multi-element geochemical analyses, across large areas of the State. It includes capture of 72,540 drillhole collars, 607,596 drillhole assays, and 147,898 drillhole geology observations.
